Blessed!

Dear Friends and Family,

Blessed is the best way to describe how I’m feeling today! God has given us a PERFECT weather day – I’m sitting here with the window open and a wonderful breeze coming in. I can hear the sound of a mower and that is a very sweet sound – you see Mark is the one pushing the mower! He has come so far from where he was the beginning of this year and we are so grateful!

We had a lot of decisions to pray and make concerning his treatments. The last time I wrote we had decided to try the regular Chemotherapy. Well, after one round we knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that he could not do that. It made him very sick – had a reaction in his arm and his fingers were bent to a degree that we thought it might be permanent. We just decided that we could not do that to his body – we know God doesn’t need the chemo to heal him anyway. We’ve always tried to have a balanced approach. The first thing we do is trust God for the healing and then we ask Him to guide us into what type of treatments and therapies we should be doing.

So we landed on low dose chemo and it is working out very well. Very little side effects and he is doing that in conjunction with a lot of the natural therapies he was already on.

He has been very blessed with speaking to many groups and churches recently. This where his heart is and God is using the message in a mighty way. We’ve met some great people along the way – it has been a great encouragement to us. If you haven’t heard about what Mark is doing you can ready his testimony at www.leaveamarknow.com – God has put him in so places to reach someone just when they needed to hear the message – I love how God works everything out in His timing!

In June we will take a family vacation which we haven’t done in years and looking forward to it very much!

We are so thankful for all of our prayer warriors out there – I truly believe that prayer is the reason Mark is still with us – now we’ve been able to meet people who are in similar situations as us and have been able to add them to our prayer list (which is growing) and it just blesses us again and again!

So, I continue to ask you to pray for Mark and for the cancer to be completely healed and for him to be able to continue speaking and doing what God has called him to.

We love you and appreciate you very much!!
